SWIMMING EXERCISE
Learn to swim crawl style. The crawl style is great for beginners, and it can get you moving quickly. Here's how to do it:
Try doing the breaststroke first. Float straight with your back and perform fan kicks. With your hands, make a "creeping" motion, raising one arm straight in the air and straight as it comes back into the water next to you. Once your arms are in the water, bend them to make them straight at your sides, and repeat. Alternate your arms as you swim, and try to keep your fingers together and your hands as straight as possible.
Try a frontstroke (also known as the freestyle or American crawl)/ Float on your stomach, do a fan-kick with your legs and use your arms to "crawl" forward. Raise one hand above the water so that it "points" forward, then slide it back in, and use your hand to "push" the water behind you. Inhale under the same hand, so that you breathe once every two movements.
